07 July 2018, 14:00 - 17:00 (Add to calendar)

Karen is a local basket maker and has a studio in Suffolk. She says, 'basketry has opened my eyes to a wealth of creative possibilities. I cherish the traditional but love the freedom of the contemporary. Handling materials of all kinds whilst making baskets ensures I feel connected to something bigger and keeps me happy'.

This half-day course is suitable for beginners with no prior knowledge of basket work. You will make a conical bird feeder using two different weaves, a simple border & handle.  No previous experience necessary

Handouts and inspirational reference books will be available.
