Wildlearning - Tree Crafts

Spend a peaceful day with local craftswoman Fay Jones in this wonderful ancient woodland learning how to do a selection of tree crafts.

Discover the wonders of Bradfield Woods with a guided walk to introduce you to native tree species and their uses then go back to the Green Oak Centre and make a range of different crafts including lime bast string, lip balm and skeleton leaves. Try a range of different tree drinks throughout the day to compliment your crafts and leave a selection of things you've made to enjoy at home.. Suitable for complete beginners. 

Materials will be provided at an extra cost of £10, to be paid on the day to Fay.

As some of the time will be spent outdoors please come suitably prepared for the British weather and wear stout walking shoes or boots.

A basket or trug
Notepad and pen
A camera if you wish
A picnic lunch

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout the day and are included in the cost of the course.
