Wildlearning - Summer Macro Masterclass at Lound Lakes

Join award-winning wildlife photographer, Kevin Sawford, on this macro
workshop at Lound Lakes nature reserve, noted for its wildflower
meadows. Lound Lakes is situated between Lowestoft & Great Yarmouth.
Kevin and Carl Herrington (Lound Lakes Warden) will take you around parts of the reserve which have a wonderful array of wildflower meadows and there should be an abundance of orchids. Time will also be spent in the wildlife garden which is home to a fantastic variety of plants. Carl will show you the main flowering sites and talk about the work that's been done at Lound to encourage wildflowers. There will also be many other subjects to focus on such as butterflies & dragonflies and Kevin will help you to get the best shots of your chosen subjects.
Kevin has run many photography courses for the Trust over the last few years and has had his work published globally in many magazines and newspapers. In 2015 Kevin won the British Wildlife Photography Awards ‘Seasons’ category award with his series of roe deer images plus had highly commended images in this competition for the last three years.
You should have a reasonable knowledge of how your camera works.
What to bring:
All camera equipment (including spare batteries, memory cards)
Telephoto/wide angle lenses
Notebook and pen
A tripod would be useful although not essential as these can be shared
A packed lunch
Please wear stout footwear and warm weather-suitable clothing for the outdoor session.
