On this one day course, you will consider some practical options for successful meadow management at the beautiful Tudor Barn, surrounded by ancient and re-created meadow.
Discover how best to manage grassland for plants and insects, how to recognise naturally rich grassland and how to improve the value of agriculturally ‘improved’ grassland.
With farm conservation adviser, Juliet Hawkins you will learn about meadow management mosaics and be introduced to cutting and grazing techniques to manage grassland for wildlife. There will be an opportunity to discuss specific problems and issues, and to explore some practical solutions.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available and are included in the price.
