Unravel the mysteries and marvels of bird migration with local ornithologist, David Hodkinson.
Discover how and why birds migrate, where they go and the challenges they face. Learn how recent technological advances have lifted the lid on many of the secrets of bird migration and explore the beautiful Lackford Lakes reserve, identifying and learning about the migratory birds which visit the reserve and rely upon its habitats
What to bring:
notebook and pen
Please wear weather suitable clothing and wear stout shoes or boots. Do wrap up warmly as you will be spending time in hides and it can get very cold.
Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided and are included in the cost of the course.
