Wild Skills: Wildlife Photography intermediate level in Holywells Park - FULLY BOOKED
27 October 2019, 10:00 - 12:30 ( Add to calendar )
Discover how to take fantastic wildlife photos with award-winning professional photographer, Kevin Sawford.
Suffolk Wildlife Trust is offering Young people aged 11 – 16 the chance to take part in our wild skills, wildlife photography sessions where you can join us and Kevin Sawford across the seasons in Ipswich on a set of four courses building up a portfolio across the year. We invite young people to join us with their smart phones, tablets or cameras learning how to capture urban wildlife at its best as part of a photography mentorship, building skills and gaining expert knowledge and tuition from Kevin.
The Mentorship allows participants to progress from a beginners level across three of the sessions to an intermediate level course on the last instalment of the scheme. There is also a unique opportunity for attendees to have their portfolio critiqued at the half way mark and at the end of the Mentorship offering a chance to be further guided by Kevin, a wonderful opportunity for any budding wildlife photographer!
To further celebrate the wild spaces of Ipswich and to welcome such an array of courses to the town next year, we are giving participants an “extra bite of the cherry” in our photography competition 2019. Photographs submitted to the competition that have been taken in Ipswich on our courses will be entered into their own exclusive prize giving category within the competition in addition to the other categories of your choice.
Can't make all four courses or joining us after May but still want to join in, why not book onto these courses individually? Please note that that feedback and a critique of photos is not included when signing up to course individually and is a unique feature of the Mentorship.
This course is designed for unattended children of 11-16 years, £10 per child for courses booked individually.
