Wild Reads Nature Reserve Wild Walk

17 October 2020, 10:00 - 12:00 ( Add to calendar )

Inspired by The Overstory by Richard Powers, one of our Wild Reads, join us for a walk around Bradfield Woods, one of Britain's finest ancient woodlands and a glorious haven for wildlife.

Wild Reads is a partnership project between Suffolk Libraries and Suffolk Wildlife Trust to promote our connection between the natural world and the written word. The booklist has inspired a programme of events at reserves, libraries and other wild places across the county throughout the year.

The Wild Reads booklist includes Wilding by Isabella Tree, Meadowland by John Lewis-Stempel, Nature Cure by Richard Mabey, Notes From Walnut Tree Farm by Roger Deakin, All Among the Barley by Melissa Harrison, Thinking on My Feet by Kate Humble, The Wild Places by Robert MacFarlane, The Peace of Wild Things by Wendell Berry and The Overstory by Richard Powers.  All books on the Wild Reads booklist are available to borrow from Suffolk Libraries.
