Traditional rake making at Bradfield Woods

Make a large hay rake using traditional woodworking tools and methods including bending a bow using steam with David Wheeler, local craftsman and furniture maker. This rake is the more robust 'big brother of the split handle rake.
Bradfield Woods open air workshop offers protection from the rain and a fireplace should it be chilly! All wood, tools and expertise will be supplied on the day. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided and are included in the price. All you need is suitable clothing, sturdy footwear and a packed lunch.
