Suffolk Wildlife Trust
Suffolk Wildlife Trust is the county's largest voluntary organisation dedicated to local nature conservation. Supported by 26,000 members, we are committed to creating Living Landscapes that are rich in wildlife where species can expand their range and move out of protected sites in to the wider countryside through networks of linked up habitat.
We care for over 3015 hectares of Suffolk's most precious wildlife habitat in 53 nature reserves (which are all free to visit) and work with landowners and local communities to advise them on improving their land for wildlife. We also review planning applications that affect wildlife sites and comment on strategic plans. People are at the heart of our vision for a Living Landscape and our five environmental centres provide educational opportunities for all ages, including wildlife courses for adults.
